A draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for improved operations, safety and security of the ferry terminal on the Mukilteo side of the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry route has been issued for review and comment. 

Washington State Department of Transportation Ferries Division is the project proponent.  The draft EIS was drafted by the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and WSDOT.

The purpose of this document is to inform the public and interested parties about the environmental benefits and consequences of building and operating a new ferry terminal in Mukilteo. 

Comments received on the draft EIS will be considered when WSDOT and FTA identify the preferred alternative for the final EIS.  Comments will be received through March 12.
