Future of Flight holds Easter Ball Hunt

The Future of Flight Aviation Center will hold an Easter event from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 22. The event will include a spectacular ping-pong ball drop from a helicopter. Each ball can be redeemed for valuable prizes.  “Easter eggs are too fragile to drop from a helicopter,” said Sandy Ward, the center’s marketing director, “so we settled on ping pong balls, which should be great fun.”  Visitors will be invited to touch and tour the helicopters during the event.

The Pacific Science Center from Seattle also will be on hand with displays from its Strange Matter exhibit and a special visit from Hello Kitty will round out the day. Tickets to the event cost $9 for adults who can then bring up to three children under the age of 12 for free. Admission to the event does not include The Boeing Tour.

The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour is open from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour, 8415 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo, WA  98275, 425-438-8100, www.futureofflight.org.
